Hire Terms & Conditions

By booking with Bump to Blossom, you agree to the following hire terms & conditions:

πŸ“¦ Returns

  • All gowns must be returned via Australia Post Express by 4pm the next business day after your event, using the prepaid return satchel provided.

  • You are responsible for the gown until Australia Post scans it in.

  • Tracking must be provided as proof of dispatch.

🌊 Condition of Returns

  • Gowns must be returned dry, free of sand, dirt, makeup, and fake tan.

  • Do not wash gowns yourself.

  • Do not seal wet gowns inside the return satchel, as this may cause mould, dye transfer, or permanent damage. Fees may apply if this occurs.

⏰ Late, Missing or Lost Returns

  • If your gown is not returned on time, or tracking is not provided, your bond will be forfeited.

  • If a gown is declared β€œlost” by Australia Post and tracking cannot confirm correct return, you will be liable for the full replacement fee.

πŸͺͺ Photo ID Requirement (Postal Orders)

  • Customers booking by post must provide a clear photo ID at checkout or by email before dispatch.

  • This protects against fraudulent bookings and non-returns.

🧡 Dress Care & Condition

  • Normal wear is expected.

  • However, significant damage (tears, stains, stretching, fake tan/makeup transfer, misuse) may result in repair or replacement fees.

  • Do not attempt to clean or repair the gown yourself.

πŸ’Έ Bond

  • A refundable bond is required per gown.

  • Bonds are refunded once items are returned on time and in acceptable condition.

  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.

πŸ” Non-Return & Debt Recovery

  • If a gown is not returned and tracking cannot confirm lodgement, you will be invoiced for the full replacement cost.

  • Unpaid invoices may be referred to a debt recovery agency.

  • You agree to cover all recovery, legal, and administration costs.

πŸ‘— Multiple Gown Hire

  • If hiring more than one gown, all gowns must be returned together in the same satchel (unless otherwise arranged).

  • Each gown requires its own bond.

πŸ“… Try-On Appointments

  • Try-ons are strictly by appointment and gowns may not be worn to events.

  • No lotions or fake tan are to be worn during fittings.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the hire date for a full refund or credit.

  • Cancellations within 7 days will only be refunded if the gown can be rebooked.

πŸ“ Sizing Disclaimer

  • Please check our size guide before booking.

  • Refunds are not provided for incorrect sizing.

  • If unsure, we recommend hiring a backup gown.

⚠️ Liability Waiver

  • Bump to Blossom is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, accidents, or wardrobe malfunctions during use.

  • All hire items are worn at your own risk.

πŸ“Έ Photo Usage

  • Unless you request otherwise, Bump to Blossom may repost or share images of you wearing our gowns for promotional purposes.

πŸ”’ Unreturned or Damaged Gowns

If a gown is:

  • Not returned on time,

  • Returned damaged beyond repair, or

  • Lost while in your possession,

Bump to Blossom reserves the right to:

  • Deduct repair/replacement costs from your bond,

  • Invoice for the balance, and

  • Pursue recovery through debt collection if unpaid within 7 days.

This may impact your credit rating.

βœ… For local pick-ups and try-ons, we require your full name and mobile number at booking.
βœ… For postal orders, a photo ID is mandatory before dispatch.
